Sunday's Stage Mass

There is no greater way to share your faith with your child then to celebrate mass with them. We are so privileged in Australia, there is nothing we shall want. On Sunday 30 March Stage 2 parents and children were invited to attend the 9.30 am Sunday Mass and to experience Eucharist together. It was a beautiful way to build the relationships between school and parish. Thank you to all who joined us on Sunday 30 March for our first School's Sunday Mass. The children loved sharing in the Eucharist as part of our parish community as you can see in the blog that follows:

On Sunday Stage 2 prepared and participated in a mass.

First we had a lovely introduction. Then three of our classmates read the Penitential Rite. Six children and a parent participated in the gospel procession and after Father Raning read the Gospel about a blind begger he spoke to us about the importance of making choices so we are not blind in our life. Then we read the Prayers of the Faithful and highlighted the message by holding up the important words. Our favourite part of the mass was the play about he blind beggar. Mr Reid took a video and you can see it if you click on the link. The link is  tinyurl.com/SPTAWH1
After mass everybody had some morning tea. There were a lot of nice cakes, dips, slices and nibbles for everyone to enjoy.
we all had fun and lots of people commented on how nice and cheerful the mass was. We all hope you enjoyed it if you came and if you weren't able to make it this time maybe we will see you at the next one.
